If there is a loss of suction, always check first that there are no blockages and the filters are clean.

Helpful Advice

With the dust cup removed, remove and rinse the foam and felt filters every 3 months.  Let air dry completely before replacing. Hand wash only. Tap loose dirt off filters between washes as needed.

When you call, advise us that you have completed the troubleshooting guide, and provide the following information;

  • Fault Code:  Please quote the code provided in the last page dependent on your answer: FN09 or FN10
  • Model Number
  • Date you purchased the product
  • Place of purchase
  • Guarantee Reference Number or Order Number (if purchased direct from Shark)
  • Date Code (4 digit code that can be found on a sticker on the back of the main body of the vacuum)
  • Serial Number – If Applicable (This can be found on the sticker on the back of the main body of the vacuum)
