Garage Door Hard To Open

Check for Debris

There may be debris stuck in the garage door release buttons or around the garage door catches.  Follow the next steps;

  • Use the handheld unit to clear anything that is caught
  • Separate the floor nozzle from the rest of the vacuum by pressing the wand release button on the floor nozzle.
  • Use your handheld unit with the crevice tool accessory to clear any debris on the floor nozzle, specifically around the two buttons and around the entire brush roll area.

Helpful Advice

With the dust cup removed, remove and rinse the foam and felt filters every 3 months.  Let air dry completely before replacing. Hand wash only. Tap loose dirt off filters between washes as needed.
